Humans are quite interesting creatures. We were once made to be selfless, to be kind, to be thoughtful, and to be passionate. But once greed starts to conquer, each one of us grows things we never imagined. We were mold into barbarous, catastrophic, and atrocious human beings. We started to learn the ways of the "world", the place we were never intended to live in. We created the concept of hierarchy, money, and even justice, things we could never afford to have when we live in this world. We start to become selfish, we want people to return favors, we need people to please us. "A tooth for a tooth", they say, but since when did our Creator taught us to be so stingy? Why can't we help someone because they need help? Not because we want a compliment or a reward.
Well, at least I know someone different. Someone full of love and slow to anger. Someone that never asked me to do things when I asked Him to help. He's kind and very aware of what I actually need. He does not ask me to mention His name when He helped me with my homework. Nor He tells me to stop asking Him for help. Such a wonderful being, a being we were supposed to be mold into.
It was once explained in Psalms 103:8-12 about Him
8
The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.
9
He will not always accuse,
nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10
he does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.
11
For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is his love for those who fear him;
12
as far as the east is from the west,
so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
He does things pro bono, or you can say without charge, for the public good. This is what I strive to be. A human being that isn't like all other humans. A human that can make a difference, propose a change, and do good. Well, at least that's what I hope to be. The rest are just keep praying and keep hustling. We could never know what the future holds, but I believe being stingy, barbaric, and selfish isn't going to help either. So here I am, proposing an idea for everyone to consider, try to be less "human". Because this world has molded us into something that isn't us. We weren't made to be like this nor we should keep doing it. So, let's take a step backward to rethink our decisions and thoughts. Then take a step forward, together, for a better "World".
