Have you ever think about how many candies children sneakily ate in a year? Or how much rules students break each month? Just how much rules and laws have we break everyday? Have you ever thought, why do we have to follow the rules?
Let me explain some background story. We humans or originally called Homo Sapiens have made some ridiculously believeable stories. We created the system of money, which is actually just a paper with some writings! The system of nations, cultures, even justice.
Have you ever thought why does this world always seems so unfair? The law in different countries work differently, people are punished for things they didn't do, or worse, they are not punished for what they did. The system of justice in this world itself is rigged. Because we are the ones who created it. We created the concept of justice and as times goes on, we feel trapped by the rules and laws. Then we made the concept of freedom. Later on, we created just enough of chaos in this world because of the opposite concepts we made. Of course, don't take this out of context.
For me, the only unrigged system of justice ever made is God Himself. He is perfect, thus, the system He makes are perfectly align.
As it says in Joshua 1:8 ESV
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
After reading this verse, I understand I should not follow the way of this world, but to follow the key of life itself. The Bible.
